Watch: LeBron James Stuns Lakers Teammates With Amazing 3-Pointer

Lakers superstar LeBron James knows how to surprise his teammates and fans. This time he did it with a brilliant 12-meter 3-pointer.

LeBron and his teammates dominated the second quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Staples Centre. King James returned to the halftime interval. He hit an excellent 3-pointer from the Lakers logo.

Some say there was no need to attempt the shot. Players were two minutes into the third quarter. LeBron was under no time pressure. LA was well ahead of its opponents.

ESPN presenter Allen Sliwa said it was “ridiculous.” Fox Sports reporter Jill Panter Lopez said it was “incredible.”

LeBron finished the game with 22 points, 14 assist and seven rebounds.

LeBron and his teammates had a good win

Anthony Davis recorded 37 points. 18 of these points came in a phenomenal second-quarter surge. The superstar hit four 3-pointers while going 13 of 19 from the field. He also had 13 rebounds.

When asked why he even tried to hit the monster 3-pointer, LeBron said, “I’ve taken a growth mindset and have had to adjust my game every year. I work on that shot and only shoot shots I work on. It sets the tone for the guys.”

King James also spoke about his connection with Davis.

“We challenge each other between the two of us, and when we do that we hold each other accountable and it trickles down to everyone else,” he said.

Glenn Robinson III met his career-high with 25 points. Tobias Harris recorded 18 for the Sixers. Philadelphia has lost nine consecutive road games in the past five weeks.

Dwight Howard scored 11 points without missing a shot at the line or in the field for his team.

The Lakers have a 47-13 record at the moment, and this is their ninth win in 10 games. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are next on their list. Saturday’s game is another home game for the team.

LeBron will get another chance to challenge Antetokounmpo. Many say LeBron should win the NBA MVP award this year. However, the Bucks superstar may snatch it again. Let’s see what happens by the end of the regular season.
