Watch: O.J. Simpson Clears Things Up For Patriots Fans About Tom Brady’s Future

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will enter free agency for the first time in his NFL career. The quarterback will face a huge challenge this offseason. He may sign with the New England Patriots. He may also sign with another team. O.J. Simpson shared his thoughts on Brady’s free agency.

The former NFL running back is convinced that New England is “the safest” place for the GOAT. This take makes a perfect sense for some analysts.

Brady has spent his entire career with the Patriots. He spent two decades on the Patriots roster and won six Super Bowls. Thanks to him, the team won a lot of games and defeated every team in the league.

“He’s gonna fall off that edge sooner or later,” Simpson said. “It would be better if that happened in New England where he’s be surrounded by fans who have been so appreciative of his magnificent career. It would make the landing a lot softer. Can you imagine in another city, one year, paying him all that money and he don’t take them to the Super Bowl? Those fans could be cruel.”

The first part of the comment confused Patriots fans. Every diehard Patriots fan hates the part when people talk about Brady’s retirement. It’s easier for them to think that Brady will stay with the Patriots forever.

Is O.J. Simpson right about Tom Brady’s future?

Brady is in perfect condition. However, head coach Bill Belichick may be worried about the injuries Brady had throughout the 2019 season. The quarterback was added to the Patriots injury report on multiple occasions. Although he didn’t have a serious health concern, Belichick may be worried.

Brady’s body coach Alex Guerrero said that quarterback may easily play until he is 46 or 47. TB12 agrees with him. Of course, he will have to stay healthy to accomplish that.

The GOAT has attracted the attention of many NFL teams, including the Las Vegas Raiders. Well, the Raiders may not be into signing the Patriots quarterback. They may try different alternatives. Well, the only thing we can do is wait and see what happens next. Where will Brady go in March?
