Watch: Throwback Video Emerges Of LeBron’s Epic Dunk Over Jason Terry

Lakers superstar LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time. He’s defeated so many teams and won three titles. There are so many highlights in his career, but one particular moment keeps making headlines. It goes all the way to Jason Terry and LeBron’s monster dunk over him.

March 18th is the 7th anniversary of the time King James dunked on JET and caused an earthquake. This dunk is legendary, disrespectful and beautiful at the same time. LeBron pulled out an incredible move on the court, and Terry will always remember it.

LeBron’s dunk came for a reason

Let’s go back to 2011. The Dallas Mavericks had one of the most improbable playoff runs. They were in the middle of a Finals rematch against King James and his Miami Heat. The Finals series was tied 2-2, and both teams entered their Game content.

LeBron talked about Game 5 and his response was that it was the biggest match of his career. There was so much pressure. Those series had four relatively low-scoring contests. Game 5 was a game-changer. The Mavericks connected on 13 of 19 three-point attempts.

The bench for Miami and Dallas played. However, no analyst could have predicted Terry’s 21 pints. How did he go that far? JET didn’t have the sharpest game. Rick Carlisle removed him from the court at one point in the game.

“Refocus. I’m putting you right back in.” Carlisle put Terry back in the game. JET entered the game a minute after being removed. He scored 8 of his 21 points and even added 2 assists to finish the game.

In the first three games of the series, Terry didn’t score any points. He found a way to get through LeBron.

In the last moments of the 4th quarter, LeBron stood in front of Terry. LeBron was 7 inches taller, so JET couldn’t do his catch-and-shoot jumpers. He was putting the ball on the floor to get enough space to create open shots. Yes, he took advantage of this in the game.

The teams traded big moves and crossed the 100-point threshold. They had 35 seconds left, and Dallas had a 105-101 lead. Terry hit a big shot, and his team won. That’s why LeBron decided to get his revenge.
