Charles Barkley Claims LeBron James Wouldn’t Want Anything To Do With Bad Boy Pistons

ESPN’s documentary on Michael Jordan, “The Last Dance” was more than enough for fans to start talking about the greatest of all time. Everyone has a different opinion. For some, it’s Michael Jordan. For others, it’s LeBron James. Although Jordan has more titles, LeBron’s numbers go really high and he is far from done at this point of his career. So, the documentary made a lot of people share their take on the GOAT discussion. The episodes are full of details from Jordan’s career with the Chicago Bulls. It also shows a different aspect of the game. Jordan’s struggles against the Detroit Pistons. Some said that LeBron would in no way fit in that environment. Charles Barkley has something else to say. Would LeBron find a way to handle the Pistons?

According to Barkley, the Lakers superstar wouldn’t want any part of the Bad Boy Pistons. Jordan had his own struggle against the team. They were always punishing him on the court.

“I love LeBron, but I do think the way they play the game today, he didn’t want a part of those Bad Boy Pistons,” said Barkley during a Zoom conversation with Kentucky head coach John Calipari.

LeBron would be prepared for the Pistons

LeBron entered the NBA with a great basketball mind and a strong body. He was well prepared for the hits. Jordan had to work on his body and strength to withstand the hits. The Pistons were merciless. NBA players could only survive the Pistons if they had great mental toughness.

LeBron has that and much more. He had it tested in every playoff loss he went through. LeBron’s mental toughness was tested at the very beginning of his career. His sound shooting skills were a matter of concern. He has issues at the foul line.

Of course, Barkley wasn’t trying to jump into a conclusion. LeBron has been caught in the middle of many arguments. He always argues for calls. Well, 80s players wouldn’t tolerate that. The same applies to 90s players. He’d get into big fights. That’s a sure fact.

But, Jordan survived the hits. He finally defeated the Detroit Pistons. LeBron has his own battle to think of.
