Donald Trump Gathering Patriots Owner Robert Kraft, Sports Leaders To Advise On Reopening The Country

President Donald Trump will consult the leaders of 11 sports leagues and federations and three prominent owners including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

The President had press briefing Tuesday to list the advisory committee. He will be working with Kraft, NBA commissioner Adam Silver, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, UFC president Dana White, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan, LPGA commissioner Michael Whan, USTA chairman Patrick Galbraith, MLS commissioner Don Garber, WWE chairman Vince McMahon, NASCAR vice chairperson Lesa Kennedy, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

The President emphasized the importance of sports to the economy.

“We want to get our sports back so importantly,” he said. “We have to get our sports back. I’m tired of watching baseball games that are 14 years old,” he said. “But I haven’t actually had too much time to watch. I would say maybe I watch one batter and then I get back to work.”

President Trump previously stated he hopes to see the country open on May 1.

Kraft to help Donald Trump

The situation can easily get out of control, but the President is positive about the current situation. He believes that healthcare workers will have the power to prevent the further spreading of the virus. The numbers are pretty high at this point, and NYC struggles to keep everything under control. The number of infected people is on the rise, and hopefully, authorities will be able to regain control over the situation. COVID-10 has taken the lives of thousands of people.

Kraft used the organization’s plane to bring a million masks from China. He donated 300,000 masks to NYC, and he will send the plane again to get more masks. We are all together in this one. Kraft has brought the masks, and top athletes use their popularity to raise the awareness.

NFL teams aren’t able to interview prospects in person. Video calls are the only options they have at the moment. It’s hard to contact players this way, but there’s no other solution. Let’s hope that this nightmare will end this month.
