Dwyane Wade Recalls A Hilarious Gambling Story Of LeBron James From Their Miami Days

Some stories are too crazy to be shared. Can you imagine a gambling story revolving around Dwyane Wade and LeBron James? During a recent AMA session on the Bleacher Report app, Wade was answering questions about his career, NBA players and other crazy staff. When asked to pick his favorite “team plane gambling story,” the 13-time NBA All-Star said they did a lot of gambling. He then took on Mario Chalmers hilarious defeat. It’s hilarious because Wade picked the best way to describe it.

We all know that Wade loves a good gambling game and poker. He shared his most amazing gambling story on a team plane. It goes all the way back to Miami, and it involves the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

Wade and LeBron had a lot of fun

LeBron and Wade were bringing the Heat together at that point. Here comes Mario Chalmers.

“We played this game called Booray. You can put a ghost in the game and the ghost fades the pot.  And Mario Chalmers was winning,” he said, “LeBron was the ghost and the last hand he flipped over beat Mario Chalmers and I think he was out like 50K or something like that.”

Guess what… LeBron took over the game. This didn’t come as a surprise to you, right? This is absolutely too much for his opponents. King James won $50K on board. Can you imagine that?

That’s not all. They found the perfect way to celebrate the big win. This wasn’t the end of the gambling session.

“The moment of it was so dramatic and we ran up and down the plane screaming and yelling because there’s no way you’re gonna lose to the ghost being up as big as he was when the game started. That was crazy.”

LeBron and Wade threw out some amazing performances on the court. They are more than happy about their back-to-back championships in Miami. It’s funny to hear all these stories. We bet things were even crazier back then. But, we also believe that Wade keeps the best for himself. We’d definitely do that. Maybe LeBron has something to say on this one. We’d love to hear his side of the story.
