Former Lakers Player Explains Why LeBron Is Different Than The Others

Los Angeles Lakers players know that LeBron James is nothing like other NBA players. Lance Stephenson know it best.

LeBron’s former teammate did an Instagram live session and talked about the king’s work ethic in the league.

Stephenson was a Laker in LeBron’s debut with the franchise. He didn’t have the best career with the Lakers, but playing alongside LeBron gave him a different perspective. LeBron is known for his work ethic, determination, basktball IQ, and photographic memory.

When asked who was the hardest working player with the most incredible working ethic in the league, Stephenson said it was LeBron.

“I say LeBron. I watched LeBron work out. Super professional. First one on the plane, first one at the meetings, first one at the workout, first one in the gym, he’s first in everything.”

Lakers players will win a title thanks to LeBron

Stephenson praised LeBron during his live convo with “The Score” on Instagram. What about their incident?

The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat met in Game 5 of the 2013-14 Eastern Conference Finals. Stephenson was playing with the Pacers, and LeBron was winning games with the Heat. During stoppage time, Stephenson blew air into LeBron’s ears and no one knows why. However, this turned out to be a viral thing, and everyone was talking about it. Stephenson’s team won the game by three points.

Stephenson spent some time with LeBron four years later, and he was more than impressed with his game. LeBron is the best basketball player, and Stephenson knows why.

“I understand why all of his teammates, everybody who ever played with him respects him because he’s the first one at everything. I just picked that up from him. That made me look at the game more different and approach a lot about life different. That experience with him was a great experience because of how he approaches everything about life.”

Stephenson plays with the Liaoning Flying Leopards in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He led the team to a title in the 2019 East Asia Super League Terrific 12. Interestingly, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. But, we will always remember him as the guy who blew air in LeBron’s ear.
