Former Teammate Reveals LeBron James’ Obsession

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers won the championship in 2016. It was the first NBA title the franchise has won. The Cavaliers had an incredible comeback, and attracted the attention of many talking heads. But, there’s something even greater about this. LeBron James kept his promise. He made a promise and fulfilled it. The king of basketball made headlines with his third title, and one of LeBron James’ former teammates now talks about his obsession.

This title came packed with a lot of emotions. It was amazing and magical. It was special for LeBron.

Today, LeBron is trying to win a title with the Los Angeles Lakers. Every NBA player stays at home now. The coronavirus pandemic forced NBA officials to make a decision. They made one, and now the season is suspended. This gave everyone plenty of time to discuss some of their favorite stories. LeBron’s former teammate Richard Jefferson recalled the amazing win their team had in 2016.

Jefferson shares LeBron James’ obsession

Jefferson appeared on ESPN’s The Jump. He opened a lot of topics, including LeBron’s story with the Lakers. According to him, LeBron could have stayed with the Cavaliers.

“I think for him (James) it was so, so important to win a championship in Cleveland,” Jefferson said. “He could still possibly be there. But I believe that, again, you look at the injuries in the first year with Kyrie [Irving] and Kevin Love, I believe that ultimately, wherever the dominoes would have fallen, I think Cleveland would have won a championship over the course of those four years (that James was playing for the Cavs).”

It was a brilliant win for LeBron and his teammates. The king of basketball had also won his third finals MVP. LeBron had hit his seventh NBA finals triple-double in Game 7 with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Let’s not forget the three blocked shots and two steals.

LeBron is doing his decent workouts at home, and he never misses a chance to hit the gym. He even invites his teammates over so they can work out and get ready for the title.
