Julian Edelman Lead Patriots’ 2010s All-Decade Team

The New England Patriots won three Super Bowls in the past decade. In other words, the Patriots’ All-Decade team from the last decade is packed with great players.

New England announced the All-Decade team for the 2010s on Wednesday. Can you guess who earned a spot on the 29-man team? This was a nice chance to see Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick together. They may not get a chance to have their names in the same sentence ever again.

Coach B is the head coach of the All-Decade team. TB12, Julian Edelman, Wes Welker, and Rob Gronkowski are added to the offensive unit. Vince Wilfork, Dont’a Hightower, Devin McCourty, and Stephon Gilmore earned a spot on the Patriots’ defensive line. As you may be guessing, Malcolm Butler is also on this team.

Edelman leads the Patriots’ All-Decade team

Edelman has two spots. He is a wide receiver and a returner. Jules is the only player to be selected on the roster to get two positions. He is a leader. As usual.

Of the 28 players on the roster, 16 were unanimous picks. Five players were also added to the 2000s All-Decade team. This includes Brady, Mankins, Welker, Wilfork and coach Belichick.

Six players of the Patriots all-decade team were also part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s all-decade squad. This team includes TB12, Gronk, and Mankins on the offensive line. Jones was added to the defense, Gostkowski was a special teamer, and BB was a head coach.

It’s good to see all the good names in one place. The Patriots will never look like this anymore.
