Lakers GM Explains Why Frank Vogel Is the Perfect Coach For LeBron, Ad, and Team

The Los Angeles Lakers lead the NBA Western Conference at the moment with a record of 49-14. That’s the second-best record in the NBA, and the Lakers sure earned a playoff berth this season. Should the NBA resume, the Lakers will make their first NBA Playoffs since the 2013-14 campaign. Frank Vogel is doing a good job with LeBron James.

The NBA suspended the season on March 11 after Rudy Gobert from the Utah Jazz returned with positive results.

Los Angeles had a brilliant season till the NBA hiatus. LeBron James led his team to a lot of wins. The Lakers worked like a perfect team, and General Manager Rob Pelinka was really proud and happy. He is really optimistic about the team’s future and discussed it during an interview on 710 AM ESPN Radio.

Pelinka is impressed with Lakers head coach Frank Vogel. He is in the middle of his first season as a head coach for the Lakers. Vogel pushed the Lakers to the top of the Conference.

”I wanted a really optimistic person with all these situations now, he is really optimistic which is contagious,” Pelinka said.

Vogel has built a good relationship with his players. “The relationship he has with LeBron and AD is so good to see,”  Pelinka added.

Jason Kidd is the assistant coach of the LA team, and Pelinka likes him, too.  He said, “Jason Kidd has the ability to build relations and strong connection between the players in the roster. This excites us all as an organization.”

Pelinka talked to media members during a video call. “It’s almost like I look at our season as a series of tests and we took a lot of tests and we got a lot of A’s.”

The Lakers general manager is very grateful to everyone who tried hard to meet the final goal. “We haven’t had a chance to take a final exam yet,” he said. “We do hope we get a chance to finish what we started.”

Will the NBA season continue? One thing stands for sure. The Lakers are on top, and Pelinka is more than proud of his team.
