New England Mock Draft: Patriots Pick Best Tight End After Blockbuster Trade

The New England Patriots will pick their new players from the 2020 NFL Draft. According to the most recent mock draft, the Patriots will pick a tight end after the big trade. When it comes to New England, this mock draft has a few suggestions.

In the first round, the Patriots have the 23rd overall pick. The mock draft suggests that the Patriots will send their 23rd and 100th overall picks and left guard Joe Thuney to the Miami Dolphins for the 26th, 56th and 70th overall picks.

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald had the Pats trading their No. 23 and Thuney for Miami’s 26th, 39th and 70th picks.

New England has a few tight end options in this mock draft

New England may go after tight end Cole Kmet. He may be a first-round pick despite the fact that analysts predicted him as a second-round pick. Kmet is the perfect fit for the Patriots. In this mock draft, New England will take the chances by trading down to snatch him 26th overall. Kmet has the perfect combination of size and sped when compared to other draft-eligible tight ends. He will have to work on his blocking, but the Patriots can make this happen.

Dalton Knee is also an option for the Patriots. According to most analysts, the Patriots may try to double up at tight end. Keene is a sixth-round pick who provides size, athleticism and power to block. Hopefully, he will be more productive in the league than he was back in college.

New England will try to pack the roster with talented players. This draft is different than anything the Patriots have had so far. It’s a virtual draft, and the team will try to get a few great names.

The Patriots lost Rob Gronkowski forever. He is now playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gronk retired last March, but plans to come back as a Buccaneer. The only way for him to return was to catch passes from Brady.

Gronk and Brady will have really great game in Tampa. They have won three Super Bowls and this reunion gives them a chance to go after another one. The Patriots got a fourth-round pick in return.
