New Patriots Josh Uche, Anfernee Jennings Deliver Message To Fans After Being Drafted

The New England Patriots will have a completely different look of their front seven in September. Head coach Bill Belichick and Co. selected a few new names at the 2020 NFL Draft. The organization lost a lot of valuable players in free agency. Belichick had to fill a few big voids. Josh Uche and Anfernee Jennings filled two empty spots.

Jamie Collins, Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts left the team. There were too many empty spots on the roster. New England had to cover the linebacker/EDGE area. They needed a few great players for that part of the roster. A lot of talented players took part of the 2020 NFL Draft. New England made some really wise moves.

On Day 2 of the draft, the Patriots selected two EDGE players. Michigan’s Josh Uche was the 60th overall pick. Anfernee Jennings from Alabama is the 87th overall.

These two fit really well in the Patriots defense. They have something to say about their selection.

Uche and Jennings have a reason to celebrate

Uche had a really crazy night, and everything ended well for him. He is ready for the big challenge, and he is definitely ready for the Patriots. Uche has so much to offer.

“What’s up Pats Nation, it’s Josh Uche here. Man, it’s been a crazy night, it’s just a blessing, God is good,” Uche said. “I’m ready to get to work, I’m ready to get to Boston, I’m ready to get with the guys, soak everything in and just be a part of the program, man. Be part of the winning program. Man, let’s go, let’s go Pats.”

Jennings feels great. He will be part of such a wonderful organization. He is ready to do business, and he can’t wait to hit the floor in Foxboro. We can already see him contribute to the game.

“Pats Nation, I’m honored and excited about this opportunity,” Jennings said. “I look forward to going to work soon. Go Pats.”

New England selected two Michigan players in five rounds, and Uche is one of them. Chase Winovich really likes the idea of having two of his guys in the same locker room.

New England seems to be pretty stacked with talent at the moment. Guess what… They are not even done. Bill Belichick is ready for the next challenge. The best has yet to come.
