Patriots Fans Should Be Celebrating After Brett Favre’s Latest Interview On Aaron Rodgers’ Future

The Green Bay Packers shocked everyone with their decision to trade up and select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft. The team used the first-round pick to get Aaron Rodgers in the 2005 NFL Draft. Brett Favre was there, but the team picked Rodgers anyway. Let’s not forget that Rodgers has four years on his current contract with the team. Is there any chance for him to go somewhere else? Will the New England Patriots get Aaron Rodgers? They lost Tom Brady in free agency. Although some say that Bill Belichick is happy with Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer on the roster, the Pats may easily add Aaron. That would be an interesting plot twist.

During his interview with Rich Eisen, Favre said that Rodgers has to plan his future. He will probably be forced to find a new home. The Packers showed everyone that Love would be the ultimate signal-caller for the next ten years.

“I think that Aaron will finish somewhere else, that’s my gut. Guarantee you it’s got he wheels turning in Aaron’s mind. If that’s the case it means there’s a chip on his shoulder toward the organization that was not there.”

Will the Patriots get Aaron Rodgers?

Seeing Rodgers put on a Patriots uniform seems really nice. The Packers traded up to get a quarterback. They already have a talented quarterback leading the team. Why did they make this decision?

Remember what happened with Favre? He joined the rival Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers can easily cross the line and go somewhere else. Signing with the Patriots would be a big blow for the Packers. We can definitely see Rodgers play under head coach Bill Belichick. They’d make a really good duo. Rodgers to the Patriots? We’d never imagine anything like that. But, the Packers wanted a new quarterback and they actually got one. A good one.

Let’s see what happens next with this story. The Patriots have been linked to Cam Newton ever since the Carolina Panthers cut him. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers want him. This will be a rather hot offseason despite the cold temperatures.
