Patriots Reveal 2020 Hall Of Fame Finalists Including One Polarizing Candidate

The New England Patriots have revealed their Hall of Fame list. According to the latest reports, this list has the names of Richard Seymour, Mike Vrabel, and Bill Parcells. These stars have the chance to earn a spot in the Patriots Hall of Fame later this year. Seymour, Vrabel, and Parcells were confirmed Tuesday as the team’s finalist for the 2020 Hall of Fame. The next move depends on a fan vote. So, which of the three is inducted.

Popular names in the Hall of Fame

Seymour and Vrabel had an important role in the Patriots defense in the first three Super Bowl championship teams. Both superstars have missed out on Patriots Hall of Fame enshrinement in the past few years. Vrabel enters the list of finalist for the fifth consecutive year. Seymour has been listed as a finalist in each of the last four years. He was also a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019 and 2020. The legend didn’t have much luck in both seasons.

Parcells was a head coach for the Patriots in the period between 1993 and 1996. Many know that he is the most polarizing name on the final ballot. His coaching skills helped boost one of the league’s least successful teams. However, this doesn’t change the fact that he is a controversial figure among Patriots fans. He left the team after Super Bowl XXXI and decided to join the New York Jets.

Parcells is a Hall of Fame finalist for the fourth straight year. But this is his first since 2014.

The Patriots Hall of Fame committee has also considered wide receiver Wes Welker and guard Logan Mankins. This is their first year of eligibility.

Safety Rodney Harrison was inducted in the Patriots 2019 Hall of Fame.

We bet Tom Brady will earn his spot in the Hall of Fame. He has helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls. He definitely deserves a spot in the Patriots Hall of Fame. Brady is a Buccaneer now, and he will try to help the team win a title. According to most recent reports, Rob Gronkowski will join him in Tampa.
