Rob Gronkowski Addresses On Telling He’s Having Bucs’ Playbook Weeks Ago

Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski knows how to make people talk. This time Gronkowski decided to talk about the comments he made about the Buccaneers playbook. The tight end told ESPN’s Sage Steele that he has had the playbook before he joined them.

The comments were brought on the Bud Light Seltzter “Drafterparty” and Gronk sort of faced a serious backlash.

However, this is Gronk. When was the last time he said something serious? He is never serious. Gronk hasn’t made any comments about his new contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He didn’t even mention that. He kept saying that he would come back. The tight end also said that a comeback is not even in his plans. What happened next? He joined Tom Brady in Tampa. He came out of his retirement just to play with Brady. They will make an incredible duo, and Bucs fans are definitely waiting for something like this. TB12 and Gronk on the same team? Again? That’s hilarious in so many ways.

Gronkowski doesn’t need a playbook

“This is seriously a story,” Gronk said on Twitter. “I was just joking around with Sage as I was pretty much the whole time that night when I was co-hosting the show. Wowsers, my co-hosting skills on point!! Lol!! I actually just received my team-issued Surface today from the Bucs and it’s still in the package, and hoping it is all pictures and drawings. I’m pumped to open it one day hopefully soon and follow the arrows and learn where to run to. Gronk run Gronk catch ball. No playbook needed. Hehe.”

This happened right after TB12 was accused of violating the league rules by visiting Bucs assistant Byron Leftwich’s house. The NFL didn’t discipline the team though.

Gronk will keep stirring the pot with his comments. That’s just him. He is probably the most fun-loving person in the NFL. Gronk always makes us smile, and now he will entertain players in Tampa.

Signing Gronk was allegedly one of the conditions Brady had during his interviews with teams. He would only join a team that’s ready to sign his favorite target.
