Rob Gronkowski Delivers Emotional Message To Patriots Nation Following 10-Year Anniversary Of His NFL Draft

It’s draft day and a lot of great things happened today. A lot of teams got their picks. It’s time for a change for most teams, and some of them have entered a brand new era. Yes, this refers to the New England Patriots. The team will enter their first season without Tom Brady. TB12 left the organization after two decades. He is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. Brady isn’t the only player to leave the Patriots for good. Rob Gronkowski came out of his retirement, and he has just thanked the Patriots nation. This was his last goodbye.

The veteran tight end changed his mind and canceled every plan to join his favorite quarterback. But, Gronk will always be grateful for the opportunity he was given. He will always be grateful for the great experience he had in New England.

Gronk used the opportunity to thank the team that traded up in the 2010 NFL Draft to give him a spot on the roster.

Well, the Patriots traded Gronk to the Bucs, giving him a chance to reunite with TB12.

Gronkowski thanked the Patriots nation

The veteran tight end credits the Patriots for the last decade in his very first post since the blockbuster trade.

“First and foremost, I want to thank the Patriots Organization for everything over the last 10 years. Without Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick taking a chance on me in the 2010 draft, I wouldn’t be sitting here in this position in life, THANK YOU both as well my former teammates for everything over the years.

“New England Patriot Fans, you guys have been nothing but amazing. I love you guys and appreciate your constant support for me big time over the last 10 years (even during retirement). THANK YOU all so much, the memories are incredible #PatsNation.

“I am beyond excited for this new chapter in my life. It’s an opportunity I will certainly not take for granted. I said it from the beginning that I wouldn’t come back to the game unless I’m feeling it, feeling healthy, and feeling ready to play. Taking a year off was hands down the best decision I made, not just in my career, but also for my health and well-being, and I would do that all over again. And now my fire is back. I am grateful for this new chapter of my career. I’m pumped to get down to Tampa, meet my new teammates, work hard, have a blast doing it, and give it my all this season!! I’m back and ready to lay a smack!”

Gronkowski is more than excited about the new opportunity he was given. In 2018, New England wanted to send him to Detroit. But, Gronk didn’t approve of the idea of catching passes from another quarterback. Brady and Gronk have established a really good relationship. According to some reports, Brady demanded that his next team opens a spot for Gronk. The idea of reunion was born at the very same moment Brady became a Buccaneer.
