Rob Gronkowski Responds To Patriots-Bucks Trade Rumor

Tom Brady’s departure to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers triggered an avalanche of rumors. One of them includes Rob Gronkowski and the potential Patriots-Buccaneers trade. Gronk retired last spring, and he may not like all the rumors about his potential return. He promised to stay retired until he recovers completely. It doesn’t mean that Gronk would return at some point. But, he is definitely not coming back now. Yes, he left the door open, but he hasn’t made any decision on his return.

Barstool Sports’ PFT Commenter’s dog, Leroy, discussed Gronk’s return. So, Gronk did an Instagram live session, and blasted Leroy.

“Wow, PFT Commenter,” the retired tight end said Wednesday. “Yo, you know PFT Commenter, his dog is starting some crazy rumors out there. His dog, Leroy, dog. You’ve got to keep your dog quiet. Leroy, you gotta stay quiet, man. Wow, man, he’s barking up a storm.”

Gronkowski works as a FOX Sports analyst and a CBD spokesman at the moment. He is also the WWE 24/7 Champion. Gronk looks pretty satisfied with his post-retirement life. He is super busy right now.
The Patriots may trade the tight end while he’s still retired to give him a chance for a reunion with Brady in Tampa Bay. The Bucks then would b given an opportunity to activate him from the reserve/retired list.

Rob Gronkowski may take part in the Patriots-Bucs trade

Brady’s new team reportedly may be trying to trade tight end O.J. Howard. If Gronk really plans a return, then the Patriots and Buccaneers may do a tight end-for-tight end swap with a draft pick or two included in the process.

In January, the retired tight end said he only had dropped 10 to 15 pounds. Gronk knows that he can put the weight back on real quick.

This is a rather intriguing situation, and we believe that Gronk would keep giving us hints for his return. How will the whole thing end? Will he join Brady in Tampa Bay? That would be more than awesome. He was Brady’s favorite tight end in New England. Patriots fans would love to see Brady and Gronk back on the field together.
