Scottie Pippen Declared LeBron James His GOAT Over Michael Jordan

The GOAT debate has given us a huge headache. NBA fans can’t bring the debate to an end. Some say that LeBron James is the GOAT. Others say it’s Michael Jordan. There have been so many theories about this debate, and Scottie Pippen is one of the many NBA names to share his take.

Many believe that LeBron and Jordan are similar. And no, LeBron is in no way a copycat. Yes, he was chasing the ghost from Chicago and his milestones. But, he didn’t copy Jordan. LeBron developed his own distinctive style and he’s been impressing NBA analysts for quite some time.

The NBA’s next best player of the 90s spoke his mind about LeBron and Jordan. According to him, LeBron has passed the Bulls legend. Jordan’s army won’t like these comments at all. We believe that Jordan knows what he is saying.

LeBron has achieved so much in his basketball career. His name was often added to the top of every list. He has put up some really great numbers. He has three titles and Jordan has six. But, LeBron has better numbers in every other category.

Pippen was Jordan’s duo partner for many years. He was one of the best players the NBA has ever seen. Maybe Pippen is one of the very few people who can bring the debate to an end.

In 2017, Pippen appeared on ESPN’s First Take and talked about the GOAT debate. Remember his comments?

When asked how close is LeBron to Jordan’s level, Pippen said he was right there.

“He might never catch him in terms of MVP,” Pippen added. “But in terms of statistics, LeBron is right there…Not just scoring, check his assists, check his rebounds. He’s probably here to Jordan.”

The Lakers superstar averages 7.9 RPG in his pro career. Jordan has 6.2. King James has the best record in assists. His career average assists of 10.6 is much better than Jordan’s 5.3. LeBron has passed Jordan in almost every category.
