Trae Young Explains Why He Picks Lakers To Win The NBA Title – ‘LeBron was on a different mission…’

The coronavirus blocked every event in the basketball world. Players practiced self-isolation for two weeks after Rudy Gobert tested positive. His teammate Donovan Mitchell had the virus too. NBA Commissioner announced the league’s decision to suspend the regular season. So, everything is blocked and players had plenty of time to recall their best memories or share highlight videos. Some used this time to blast other players. The season isn’t over, and we don’t know whether players will finish it. Will the NBA just pick up the champion? Trae Young made a pick, and he goes with the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James.

The NBA may just pick a winner. If they go with records, the Milwaukee Bucks will snatch the title.

In an Instagram chat with former teammate Justin Anderson, the 21-year-old Young made a few comments about LeBron. He said, “Bron was on a different mission. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. That’s why he’s the greatest in my eyes.”

Trae Young goes with the Lakers and LeBron

LeBron and the Lakers sat on top of the Western Conference with a 49-14 record and a .778 win percentage. The Los Angeles Clippers are 5.5 games behind King James and Co. LeBron is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and a league-leading 10.6 assists each outing.

King James missed the playoffs in 2018-19 for the first time since 2005. He was named Western Conference player of the week on three occasions. LeBron was also the Western Conference player of the month in January and February.

LeBron is 35 but age is just a number for him. He is ready to play a few more seasons, and winning a title with the Lakers is his next move. However, Stephen A. Smith believes that LeBron has to win a title this season. If that doesn’t happen he won’t get another chance. That’s what Smith said.

We can’t make any prediction at this point because the nation struggles with a pandemic. Some reports suggest that teams will be quarantined in Las Vegas with two arenas playing host to the playoffs. Will this plan work? We will keep you updated.
