Troy Daniels Reveals The Answer Of LeBron And Davis After Asking Them If He Should Leave Lakers

Troy Daniels spent the first 4 months of the NBA season playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. The talented backup guard had the chance to play alongside LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the stars on the Lakers roster.

But, the backup guard didn’t know if the Lakers would keep him on the roster for the playoffs. The Lakers agreed to waive Daniels last month, and now he plays with the Denver Nuggets.

Daniels suited in for one game with his new team before the league suspended the regular season.

It was a rough year for Daniels. Last summer, he inked a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the team. This was his sixth NBA team. Daniels joined the NBA in the 2013-14 season. Playing with the Lakers was a big deal for him. He always dreamed of playing with a team full of superstars. Being part of such a great organization made him feel good.

Daniels knows that the Lakers are pretty different than any other team. They take a really good care of the players. Daniels also enjoyed the media attention he was receiving.

Daniels averaged 4.2 points and 11.1 minutes in 41 games with the team.

Troy Daniels has words of praise for the Lakers

Leaving the Lakers wasn’t in his plans. He wanted to play more with the team. No player on planet Earth wants to leave that type of organization. Daniels was well aware of the fact that he was playing with the winners. He almost stayed in the organization.

“I had the choice to leave the Lakers or I had the choice to stay. … I actually called LeBron, I called A.D., and I got their input. They basically said, ‘Make the best decision for you and your career.’ I had the choice to leave the Lakers or I had the choice to stay. … I actually called LeBron, I called A.D., and I got their input. They basically said, ‘Make the best decision for you and your career.’”

Daniels hopes that the season will resume in the near future. He needs to prove his talent to his new team. Daniels may be playing with the Nuggets, but he will always have words of praise for the Lakers.
