Lakers’ LeBron James Addresses His Preference On Playing Against Or With Michael Jordan

There is not much to do these days other than staying home and watching your show of choice. Many people have turned to Netflix’s hit series “The Last Dance” documentary which finished this weekend. Most people loved the series from start to finish. It gave viewers an inside look on just how much of a monster Michael Jordan was in his prime.

But that didn’t stop some folks from comparing Jordan and LeBron, as per usual. But James did not want to get into that. Instead, he talked about how awesome it would have been for him and Jordan to team up and play together on the same team.

This caught some people off guard, as many though that it would have been the opposite and LeBron would have preferred to play against one of the best of all time. He soon took to Twitter to make his stance clear

“I didn’t say I envisioned MJ as a teammate not an adversary,” James tweeted Monday night. “A question was asked ‘Do I think I could have been a teammate of his and compliment his game.’ I love the greats and would have loved to play with them all during their runs because I (am) a historian of the game but I also would die to compete vs every single one of them too! Don’t ever get it twisted!”

That sounds more like the competative beast that we know as LeBron. It would have been awesome to see both sides, in reality. Just imagining a team with both Jordan and LeBron is enough to get the blood pumping.

“The Last Dance” was an awesome experience for those who are into basketball, or even sports as a whole. It dives deep into what it took for the Chicago Bulls to be as successful as they were.

“Me personally, the way I play the game – team first – I feel like my best assets work perfectly with Mike,” James said. “Mike is an assassin. When it comes to playing the game of basketball, scoring the way he scored the ball, (then) my ability to pass, my ability to read the game plays and plays and plays in advance.”

It is a very interesting perspective.
