Lakers’ LeBron James Deliver Inspiring Message With Barack Obama During Graduation Special

The world is in the middle of a terrible crisis. Authorities struggle to put the pandemic under control, but the number of newly affected individuals is on the rise. Going outside and hanging out with our friends is impossible. The government has canceled every event, including graduation ceremonies. A virtual ceremony is the only thing graduating students can settle for. Former US President Barack Obama headlined “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020” which aired on May 16, 2020. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James played a big part of the graduation organization.

During his speech, LeBron delivered an important message for graduating students. He wanted to spread the word.

“In our poorest neighborhoods, schools are about much more than learning. In places like Akron, Ohio, schools are the most essential service. It may be the only place that supports you, the only place to protect you, and for many, the only place that feeds you.1 Our schools are our safety net. Our people build our communities. To the class of 2020: as you celebrate tonight, do not forget your safety net. Every teacher, every coach, every pastor, they along with your friends and family got you to this moment.”

LeBron delivered the best graduation speech

LeBron told his student that it’s time to go to a new place. He encouraged them to chase their dreams and accept their challenges. LeBron told students to feel free to strive for greatness and honor every promise. He told them that they need to recommit to the community. The Lakers superstar knows that this is the last thing kids think of at the moment. They have been sitting in the same place for two months. LeBron knows they are 18, but he also encouraged them to help the community. He was referring to “the rec league, your church, your youth group, and most of all, your school.”

This was the best message LeBron could have delivered at this point. He wants to help the kids understand his words. He was a kid once, and he knows how kids think these days. Let’s hope that his message will be understood.
