LeBron James Unable To Hide His Excitement As He Prepares To Return To Lakers Practice

LeBron James is ready for his Lakers practice. The NBA suspended the regular season to stop the spreading of the coronavirus. The situation has changed significantly, and players are now able to return to their practice facilities.

LeBron took to his Instagram stories to share his excitement. He promised to win a title with his team, and now he has a real chance to do that. The NBA has yet to make a decision on the resumption of the regular season.

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, the county was “with all certainty” close to extending the stay-at-home order through July. However, LeBron’s team has talked to the city mayor’s office. They needed to return to their practice facility. The Lakers sit on top of the West, and going back to practice is more than important for the team.

The NBA suggested May 8 as an official reopen day for team facilities. This didn’t apply to every NBA team. Some players can’t return to their facilities at this point.

LeBron will soon have his Lakers practice

Several state and local governments are now easing the restrictions on non-essential businesses. The country was hit by a terrible pandemic, and every facility was closed until these days. The NBA has contacted teams regarding the reopening of their facilities.

The new rules would only allow four players would be allowed to enter the facility at any one time. Head or assistant coaches won’t show up for the practice. Practices, scrimmages and other group activities won’t be allowed. NBA players aren’t allowed to use public health clubs, fitness centers, or gyms.

The Lakers will do their best to protect players. Their safety is a priority now. According to an ESPN report, the Lakers have already made a workout schedule for the players. The team has also made plans that include a facility hygiene officer supervising the daily cleaning and sterilizing of the facility. Lakers players and staff will wear personal protective equipment. Each workout session will last for 90 minutes and the food won’t be served in a buffet.

These measures will hopefully protect players from the virus.
