Michael Wilbon Shares Viral Comment On LeBron James, Kevin Durant

Michael Wilbon triggered an avalanche of reactions with his comments on Lakers superstar LeBron James and Nets superstar Kevin Durant.

ESPN’s reporter shared his comments on The Last Dance and Michael Jordan’s role in the basketball world. Wilbon discussed the power Chicago had back then. How would today’s players fit in Jordan’s game on the floor?

Can you imagine LeBron and Durant playing in the 1980s and ‘90s? Both players have incredible dominance on the floor these days. LeBron is the greatest of all time, remember? But, would LeBron and Durant be this dominant in Jordan’s era? Wilbon doesn’t think so.

“There’s no one now who would have dominated the ’80s and the ’90s,” Wilbon said. “They’re not dominating anybody back then – athleticism or evolution or not.”

We can’t really confirm this. We can’t tell whether Durant and LeBron would be that powerful in the ‘80s. But, we can’t really say that they wouldn’t be successful in Jordan’s time.

ESPN is airing The Last Dance on Sunday nights through May 17. The release of the past few episodes of the documentary triggered an avalanche of reactions. Isiah Thomas was criticized for his game back then. Jordan’s fans didn’t have anything good to say about Thomas these days. They all remembered the punching that took place on the court back then.

The release of the documentary also made people talk about the GOAT. Who is the greatest of all time? Is it LeBron? This debate won’t be over in the near future, and Jordan’s fans won’t take a step back. Neither will LeBron’s army.

In the middle of all the criticism Thomas received, LeBron had the courage to praise the legend. Thomas did the same thing, saying that LeBron is unbelievable.

The GOAT debate has sparked a lot of controversy, and we have people saying that LeBron doesn’t deserve to be part of it. Dennis Rodman said he would defeat LeBron without any problem. Well, we wouldn’t even discuss that. We’d just let the numbers do the talking. LeBron has been putting up some crazy numbers. He won’t go anywhere before winning a few more hours.
