Patriots’ Julian Edelman Delivers Important Message To Those Who Served Our Country

Patriots wideout Julian Edelman delivers a message for Memorial Day. He honored those who sacrificed their lives for us and our well-being. He honored all the people who lost something to give us a better future.

“Today we remember those who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice, all for the greater good. To those brave men and women, we salute you. ??”

Another Patriot joined Julian Edelman and delivers a message

Edelman isn’t the only Patriot to honor our heroes. Danny Vitale did the same thing. He won fans’ hearts with his “Do whatever the team asks” move during a conversation with media members last week. Patriots fans will love him even more after hearing about his Memorial Day move.

Vitale completed the Murph Challenge. It is challenge full of many workouts, and Vitale did this and much more. It’s a rather big challenge, but Vitale enjoyed every bit of it. Many others did the same, and they joined forces for a great cause.

The challenge starts with a mile run, and it’s followed by 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, and 300 squats. It finishes with another mile run. Let’s not forget that Vitale and other participants wore a 20—pound vests through the challenge. Pretty much every participant wears this vest to complete the challenge.

The annual Memorial Day tradition is dedicated to Lt. Michael Murphy. He is a navy seal who lost his life in combat in 2005. The challenge raises funds for the LT. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. They award 27 scholarships each year.

Vitale will probably take over for James Develin at fullback this season. He can easily become a fan favorite for the Patriots.

Let’s go back to the Patriots wideout. Edelman and his former teammate Rob Gronkowski partied really hard four years ago. The duo partied on an island off Cape Cod, Massachusetts. They sure know how to party, and Edelman probably misses his teammate. They can easily throw another big party to celebrate big days. Maybe they will get the chance to party again. Truth is, every celebration is a great celebration for Memorial Day.
