The team signed two undrafted free agent tight ends. Well, no, it turns out that the Patriots will change the position of one undrafted free agent.

New England signed Ohio State’s Rashod Berry. May thought that he will step in as a tight end. That’s the position he had in college. This is about to change, because Berry’s Twitter bio lists himself as an OLB @ New England Patriots. It didn’t take much time before everyone noticed it.

The Patriots also got UDFA tight end Jake Burt out of Boston College. Berry measures at 6-foot-3 and 263 pounds. He was part of the defensive line as a freshman with the Buckeyes. Berry was also a defensive player in two contests as a senior against Rutgers and Maryland. He was able to catch 17 passes for 198 yards with four touchdowns in his final three college years. Berry had seven total tackles during his time in college.

New England also selected linebackers Josh Uche, Anfernee Jennings and Caash Maluia and tight ends Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene in the Draft. Linebackers De’Jon Harris and Kyahva Tezino and edge rusher Trevon Hill earned spots as rookie free agents.

Head coach Belichick made a lot of great moves this offseason, and many believe that he will make a few more changes to the roster. New England has accepted a big challenge, and Tom Brady departure was probably the biggest issue the team had. Finding a good tight end was also a must. New England has a few tight ends now.

The McCourty twins and Julian Edelman would like to see Jarrett Stidham as a leading quarterback in September. Coach B shares the same opinion about his second-year quarterback. Brady, on the other hand, is getting ready for a fresh start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Many believe that he will retire as a Buccaneer. Well, this was a challenging offseason for every NFL team. The Patriots will put on their new uniforms, remember?
