Todd McShay Makes Prediction For Patriots QB Jarrett Stidham

The New England Patriots are in the middle of the most exciting offseason in two decades. Quarterback Tom Brady will wear a different uniform in September. He signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he will probably retire as a Bucs player. What are the Patriots up to now? Who will they use as a starting quarterback in September? Jarrett Stidham is next in the line. Todd McShay shared his thoughts on this one.

Let’s not forget that head coach Bill Belichick didn’t select a quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft. Will he tank the season? Will he wait for a better pick in the 2021 NFL Draft?

Brady’s departure from the Patriots triggered an avalanche of rumors. People talked about his replacement. Many thought that the Patriots would add Andy Dalton or Cam Newton this offseason.

The draft is over now, and the Patriots didn’t get any of these players. Newton is not a player of interest, and Stidham is still a priority now.

Is Todd McShay right?

McShay took to his Twitter to trigger another speculation about the quarterback situation in Foxboro. His tweet was actually a response to a tweet questioning when people would become aware of the fact that the Patriots will flow with Stidham.

Week 1 is my guess,” McShay tweeted.

He may be actually right. Will people stop talking about Newton’s potential arrival in New England? Maybe the Patriots will trade for a quarterback this summer. Pretty much every scenario makes sense now. We don’t know what’s Belichick up to at the moment? He is probably ready to use Stidham as a starting quarterback in September.

Brady is getting ready for a new chapter now. He has already moved his family to Tampa. They have rented a nice home. Although it’s not as private as his Boston home, Brady is pretty satisfied with the mansion. Things have turned out really well for him. He won’t be the only Patriot on the Bucs roster. Rob Gronkowski came out of his retirement to join Brady. These two will help the Bucs win games, and 2020 will be more than exiting for us all.
