Watch: LeBron James’ Shares Encouraging Message To I Promise School Students

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James supported the graduation ceremony for high schoolers in the US. He hosted “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020,” and encouraged them to do something about their future. He also delivered a message for students at his I Promise School in Akron, Ohio.

“You should’ve had a real graduation, I know. You should’ve had an incredible senior year, I know that as well. But you made a sacrifice, and you did it to keep your community safe and healthy,” he said.

The king of basketball had a similar message for his I Promise students. He took to Twitter to deliver it.

LeBron is proud of his I Promise School

LeBron opened the I Promise School in 2018. His students have made quite a progress, and everyone has noticed that, including former President Barack Obama.

According to a report by the New York Times, third- and fourth- grade students have shown really great results in the testing. This will give them great opportunities later in life. LeBron will help kids get better opportunities in life.

The three-time NBA champion has done so much for the kids at his school. They had their eyes checked and also got new bikes and kicks. The kids will also receive free tuition, and words can’t express all the great things LeBron has done for this kids. He didn’t have this kind of support in his childhood, and he even had to live with his coach. LeBron’s mother, Gloria, struggled to make ends meet, but she made it. She helped LeBron grow up in a successful person.

LeBron will keep doing great things for the kids at his school. He made a promise, and he always keeps his promises. What will he do next? He has great plans for the students and their families. He donated money to families in need.

It’s interesting to note that LeBron did all this in the middle of the big campaign. He is in his 17th NBA season, and his Los Angeles Lakers can win a title this time. Well, the regular season has to resume first. It may happen this summer.
