Watch: Moment When LeBron James Yelled At His Mother After A Hard Foul

LeBron James is the most successful basketball player of all times, and many would thank his mother for bringing him to the top. LeBron accomplished so much in his professional career, and his mother sacrificed a lot. But, in one particular occasion, LeBron yelled at his mother. He yelled at his hyper mother, and asked her to calm down in the stands. Pretty much every camera caught the incident.

The Boston Celtics finished their season with a 66-16 record. The Cleveland Cavaliers made their way to the semifinals. Boston had a lot of success with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen on their way to the top and everything went smooth until LeBron showed up.

In Game 4, Paul Pierce took the Cavs superstar with great power. He fouled King James and they went all the way to the stands. Gloria was sitting right there, and she was really hyped up because of the foul on her son. Garnett tried to calm Gloria down but she wouldn’t stop. That’s when LeBron stepped in. King James told his mom to sit down and his game went pretty crazy from that point.

LeBron pulled out a dunk on Garnett and fans went crazy. “LeBron James with no regard for human life,” Kevin Harlan said of the move.

LeBron James apologized to his mother

Media members asked tons of questions about LeBron and his move, and most of them involved his mom. He apologized for his comments without a second thought.

“I told her to sit down, in some language I shouldn’t have used,” LeBron said in an interview. “Thank God today wasn’t Mother’s Day. All I could think about is her. … I know my mother. It’s fine, we’re good.”

Cleveland won the game 88-77 but lost the chance to win in the finals in the series. Boston was strong in the playoffs. They defeated Kobe Bryant and his team in the playoffs with a 4-2 record. LeBron scored 30 PPG, 7.9 RPG, and 7.2 APG in that season. The same season he was also named the NBA All-Star MVP for the second straight time.
