Watch: Video Resurfaces Of LeBron James Saying He’s The GOAT

ESPN’s “The Last Dance” docu-series fueled the GOAT debate. This made everyone remember the video in which Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James calls himself the GOAT.

The GOAT discussion revolves around King James and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. It turns out that this debate will never end.

The video is from LeBron’s “Barbershop” show. In his video, LeBron said the title he won with the Cleveland Cavaliers made him the greatest basketball player of all time. The Cavaliers overcame a 3-1 deficit to smash the 73-win Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals. Cleveland hadn’t won a title in 52 years, and LeBron put an end to that. He believes this title made him the GOAT.

LeBron James is the GOAT

LeBron did a really big thing in 2016. Beating the Golden State Warriors was almost impossible back then.

“That one right there made me the greatest player of all time, that’s how I felt. I was super, super ecstatic to win one for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. Like I was ECSTATIC and the first wave of emotion was everyone seeing me crying. Like that was everything in sports that had gone on in Cleveland. And then after I stopped I was like ‘that one right there made you the greatest player of all time.’ Everybody was saying they were the greatest team of all time and the greatest team ever assembled, and for us to come back the way we came back in that fashion, I was like ‘you did something special.’”

We believe this video will make Michael Jordan’s fans angry. But, they can’t ignore the numbers. Yes, Jordan may have won six titles in his six trips to the NBA Finals. However, the Lakers superstar passed him in almost every list. LeBron leads the NBA in assists, and he is far from retiring.

The Lakers won the top in the league, and they are waiting for the season to resume. LeBron was really successful with his team. He wanted to win a title with the Lakers. He is definitely winning one this time. LeBron made a promise, and he always keeps his promises. How will he fit this plan into the current crisis? Let’s see what happens next.
