Lakers’ LeBron James Has Strong Message for Team Heading Into Return

The NBA suspended the 2019-2020 season in March, and it took some time before the league made a decision on the potential return. NBA players were waiting for updates on the situation, and they will soon get a chance to win a title. LeBron James has been waiting for this and now he has a message for his teammates.

The NBA plans to reboot the season in Orlando, Florida. NBA teams will have a difficult task, and the Lakers are more than ready to go. They are considered favorites to win the championship. Although they will play under different circumstances, the final goal is still the same.

LeBron James delivers a message

Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported that King James has been leading his Lakers, helping them get ready for the potential return of the season.

“From keeping it lighthearted to being serious, James has been at the forefront during the Lakers’ group chats about staying “mentally and physically prepared” as they approach heading to Orlando, according to people familiar with the situation but not authorized to speak publicly.”

Some role players may have let themselves go in the past few months. The Lakers have a strong leader, and pretty much every veteran has been contributing to the success. The team is comprised of veterans, and they have enough experience to know what’s next on their list. LA will need bench players to make an impact on the game. Hitting the floor after three months is hard, but the team has everything they need to win.

The Lakers defeated the Milwaukee Bucs and Clippers in back-to-back games. They are title favorites. Spending too much time outside the practice facility may have an impact on the players’ performance. Well, LeBron made sure each of his teammates gets the much-needed practice. Some of them don’t have a gym at home, so reports suggested that he had invited Lakers players to his home. Anthony Davis did the same. Practice matters and LeBron is paying really good attention to his team’s readiness. He wants them ready and sharp in July. LeBron will also go for his NBA MVP award.
