Lakers’ LeBron James Rebukes Awesome ‘Shut Up and Dribble’ Video

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James shared a video Thursday explaining why he would never “stick to sports” or “shut up and dribble.” These comments will sure cause a chaos in the media world. He shared his video on Instagram and the result was brilliant.

“You thought I would (zipper-face emoji)?? Yeah oook,” he wrote. “I’m louder than EVER #blacklivesmatter.”

This post was released during the violent protests following the death of George Floyd. Millions of people protest against systemic racism and police brutality.

This also happened right after Drew Brees said during an interview on Yahoo Finance that he wouldn’t “agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country.” He gave this response after reporters asked him how the league should handle the players who take a knee during the performance of The Star-Spangled Banner. Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was taking a knee in 2016 to express his opinion about police brutality.

LeBron James has a response to the whole “shut up and dribble” thing

LeBron joined the group of NBA players who support protesters following the death of the 46-year-old African American. King James has always spoken about social issues, and he uses his platform in order to raise the general awareness.

“WOW MAN!! Is it still surprising at this point,” LeBron wrote in a response to Brees commnts. “Sure isn’t! You literally still don’t understand why Kap was kneeling on one knee?? Has absolute nothing to do with the disrespect of the flag and our soldiers(men and women) who keep our land free. My father-in-law was one of those men who fought as well for this country. I asked him question about it and thank him all the time for his commitement. He never found Kap peaceful protest offensive because he and I both know what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong! God bless you.”

Of course Brees apologized for his comments. Well, Laura Ingraham made a really big mistake. Remember when she told LeBron and Kevin Durant to “shut up and dribble?” in 2018. This happened when LeBron and Durant criticized the President.

LeBron and other high-profile NBA players have been using their platforms to help people raise their voice.
