LeBron James Better Than Michael Jordan in 2 Areas According to Charles Barkley

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley compared Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan during an appearance on ESPN’s “WYD” with Ros Gold-Onwude. Jordan is LeBron’s childhood hero, and they did really great job on the basketball court. According to Barkley, LeBron did better in at least two categories.

Barkley “reiterated” that MJ is the greatest basketball player of all time, adding that Lakers icon Kobe Bryant goes at No. 2 right behind LeBron.

Well, he didn’t miss the chance to say that LeBron is definitely a better passer and rebounder than the Bulls legend.

LeBron is better than Jordan

King James is the only player in league history to rank top-10 all-time in points and assists. He passed Michael Jordan on the NBA’s all-time scoring list last season and went above the Black Mamba this season before Kobe died in a helicopter crash on January 26.

MJ has won six championships with the Bulls in the ’90s. He stands at a brilliant 6-0 record and also won all six Finals MVPs. The Lakers superstar is just 3-6 in the NBA Finals. Data reveals that he has been swept twice. LeBron’s losing record in the finals is one of the biggest reasons NBA pundits and fans have to put MJ over LeBron.

The Last Dance was a big reason for NBA fans to start talking about the GOAT. Who did it better? Is LeBron better than Jordan? In the documentary, Barkley admits that the 1993 NBA Finals was the first time in his career he played against a better player than himself. Jordan and the Bulls smashed Barkley and the Phoenix Suns in six contests. The former was averaging 41.0 points in the series while shooting 50.8 percent from the field.

LeBron has a really good chance to win his fourth title. The Los Angeles Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference before the NBA hiatus. They also defeated the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks. This puts LeBron on top of every other basketball player, including the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo. The NBA season will resume on July 30.
