LeBron James Shares a Horrific Incident from the Past to Raise Awareness Against Racism

Millions of people are protesting against racial injustice and police brutality. Americans are marching the streets protesting over the death of George Floyd. People would love to put an end to the ancient problem. We can’t let people die in the streets. The NBA has been really supportive in the whole process. They have voiced their support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is doing the impossible to eliminate prejudice and bring equality in the society. Now LeBron James reminded everyone of an incident from the past.

LeBron James reminds everyone on the incident

African-Americans have seen so many problems in this country. King James wants people to learn more about the terrible past their ancestors have been through.

“On this day, exactly 100 years ago in 1920, three African Americans are lynched in Duluth, Minnesota, by a white mob of 5,000, Dowd wrote. Falsely accused, and left unprotected by local leaders, they even sold postcards of it. Let us push for justice and equality this day and all days.”

Dowd shared a photo and it was very disturbing. The photo received the response from many activists including LeBron. The three-time NBA champion voiced his opinion and his concerns about the current situation. LeBron gave his take on how the US can eradicate racism if they choose to do that.

“Until You Understand The History of what’s been going on to US in America, then you’ll never understand why We are in Pain til this day!” LeBron wrote.

LeBron won’t just stay calm and do nothing. He will continue giving his support for the BLM movement. Although LeBron wants the season to resume, he will never stop his battle. LeBron and his teammates have joined the mass movement to support those who fight for social justice.

This won’t end here, and hopefully, protesters will stay calm. Some of the protesters have turned violent.

LeBron will use his game as a platform to raise awareness and help everyone realize that the situation needs an immediate solution. Authorities need to do something about the problem. They need to address it as soon as possible.
