LeBron James, Steph Curry Among NBA Stars Voicing Support For Blackout Tuesday

The killing of George Floyd opened an old wound, and millions of people are now protesting against racial injustice. Four police officers participated in his arrest and one of them pinned Floyd to the ground, suffocating him to death. NBA players and many other athletes have shared their thoughts on the never-ending problem. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James voiced his support for Blackout Tuesday.

Some of the protests have become really violent and they have been vandalizing the streets. Mass groups of people have looted stores, and the problem seems to be getting worse. LeBron and his fellow superstars are trying to put the situation under control. Their approach is rather peaceful, and it’s time for the madness to stop.

Many people have taken various steps to raise general awareness. The US music industry made a break to stand in solidarity against racial injustice. Blackout Tuesday is one of the peaceful initiatives created to curb the violence.

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, also contributed to the fight against racial injustice. She shared an empty black photo on her Instagram account and didn’t provide any caption.
