Nephew Reminisces An Incident Of His Uncle George Floyd ‘He was the biggest LeBron James fan…’

Do you know that George Floyd was a fan of Lakers superstar LeBron James? His nephew, Brandon Williams, talked about this during the memorial.

Floyd died after one Minneapolis police officers pinned him to the ground keeping his knee on his neck for almost nine minutes. The nation didn’t remain silent, and millions of people are protesting nationwide. The police officers lost their job and they will also face charges.

Many family members attended the memorial service of Floyd on Thursday. Williams held his speech. Floyd’s nephew recalls how happy he was after LeBron won a title with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2016, LeBron’s team defeated the 73-win Golden State Warriors. They overcame a 3-1 deficit, and LeBron owned the game.

George Floyd was a big fan of LeBron James

So, after the big success, Floyd called Williams.

“He was the biggest LeBron James fan,” Williams recalled. “When the Cavaliers came back on the Golden State Warriors in the Finals, and I remember the very first phone call. I told him, ‘You’re too happy. You sound like you won a championship.’ “

Floyd responded: “Man, you know how I feel about LeBron. I did win a championship.”

Williams remembered George and his love for LeBron and the big game.

“Every time we would talk, I would ask him: ‘How you doin’ man? You good?’ ” Williams recalled. “And he would say ‘I feel like I just won a championship.‘ “

LeBron uses his social media as a platform to protest against racial injustice and police brutality. This is not the first time for him to speak against injustice. He has been doing this since he was a kid. This gave him a few enemies, but LeBron doesn’t mind any of that. He has an army of supporters and people who praise his word.

LeBron was wearing his “I Can’t Breathe” shirt years ago. He shared a black image in honor of Blackout Tuesday. He also condemned New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees for his comment on those who take a knee during the national anthem. Brees apologize and he offered an explanation, asking everyone to try to see his true colors.
