Rhode Island Hilariously Trolls Tom Brady & Rob Gronkowski With ‘Traitorade’ Beer

How can you put Tom Brady and “beer” in the same sentence? The former New England Patriots quarterback left the organization after two decades, and Smug Brewing found the perfect way to “honor” him. Well, yes, it was a joke, but we believe someone won’t be happy.

The Pawtucket, R.I.-based brewery released “Traitorade.” It’s a beer featuring a parody of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ “Bucco Bruce” logo. The brewery described their latest product as an “imperial fruit sour with sea salt,” and this is their perfect way for trolling Brady and Rob Gronkowski. The company made sure to spread its “love” for the Bucs quarterback and his teammate. Their Instagram post attracted a lot of attention, and people can’t stop talking about it.

Yes, this is a joke, but it’s definitely a cheesy one.

Brady left the Patriots after twenty years, leaving them with second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer. Brady and Bill Belichick had different plans for the upcoming season, and the head coach did his thing. TB12 did his thing too. He helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls and wanted to do something about himself. TB12 had his demands, and Belichick wasn’t ready to meet them.

Tom Brady will drink his beer… In Tampa

So, Brady is a Bucs quarterback now, and he will stay in Tampa Bay for at least two years. His departure may affect the Patriots’ game in 2020, but many analysts believe that Stidham has enough talent to lead the team. Belichick added some nice weapons for him, and he better use them wisely. Of course, he is not as experienced as Brady, and that’s where Hoyer comes handy. Hoyer can teach Stidham all the things he learned in the past years. The Auburn product learned so much from Brady in 2019. Although he didn’t see much action, Stidham can be really brilliant in 2020.

Some analysts say that Belichick plans to “tank” the season and select a big name in the 2021 NFL Draft. We wouldn’t go deeper into that topic, and we would just wait and see how will things turn for Stidham in the upcoming season.
