The Truth Behind LeBron James’ Skipping Players’ Conference Call

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his teammates were supposed to have a conference call. He skipped it.

The return of the regular season has been making headlines these days, and the situation is not that simple.

The return of the season is around the corner and the NBA and basketball players agreed to a regular and playoff format. However, they have yet to agree on the details.

NBA games are set to take place at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. The health and safety regulations have to be finalized.

The reason LeBron James had to skip the conference call

The entire NBA world will use their power voices to end racial injustice and police brutality. Players have yet to decide whether they will return to the court of if they will stay home and focus on the major problem in society.

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving is one of the players who will sit out. Los Angeles Lakers Dwight Howard and Avery Bradley aren’t really excited about the NBA return.

What did LeBron do? He skipped the call. LeBron helped the Lakers reach the top in the West and he will definitely have a chance to win the title if the season resumes.

Sam Amick from The Athletic reported that LeBron skipped the call because he is convinced that he will continue to do his social job while also winning games.

“When nearly 20 percent of the NBA’s players joined a Zoom call on Friday evening to discuss a variety of concerns about the league’s Orlando return that is slated for a mid-July start and a mid-October finish, there was one absence that stood out above the rest: LeBron James.

“Because sources say James, whose Lakers have as good a chance at the title as any of the 22 teams invited to Walt Disney World, believes playing in Orlando won’t deter his ability to continue inspiring change.”

If the league doesn’t resume on July 30, players will use the platform and their fans to let their voices be heard.

How will LeBron and the Lakers handle the situation? It’s hard to say at this point.
