Ty Law Gives Confident Predictions For Stephon Gilmore’s Patriots, NFL Future

Ty Law has nothing but words of praise for Stephon Gilmore and his NFL career. He can also see his bust next to him. The Patriots legend spoke to Karen Guregian from The Boston Herald, and one of the topics included Gilmore’s success in the league.

According to Law, Gilmore’s eagerness to improve will probably bring him a big award in the upcoming season. The cornerback was the 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He has been working really hard to improve, and Law was more than impressed with his efforts.

That’s what the great ones do, he is amongst the giants of the league and has a desire to be the best and stay there,” Law told Guregian in a text message. “I’m loving what he is doing and looking forward to another big year for him.”

The Pro Football Hall of Fame added Law into the ranks last August. Law said that the 29-year-old cornerback will probably join him in Canton one day. Of course, Gilmore will have to keep working really hard to get the ultimate award.

“He’s the real deal,” Law added. “And he still seeks advice and asks questions. He’s still eager to learn. “If he keeps it up, he’ll be around a long time. One day, you’ll see him in the Patriots Hall of Fame, and the NFL Hall of Fame, as well.”

Law has already praised Gilmore as the “best cornerback in football right now.” He offered the Patriots superstar tips and guidance on how to maintain his dominant power. Gilmore has accept the advice, and we can already see the fruits of his efforts.

Gilmore will join the Patriots in September and he will be playing alongside a bunch of new players. Tom Brady and Kyle Van Noy are nowhere to be seen at this point, and Gilmore will join forces with the McCourty twins, Julian Edelman and the rest of the squad. Patrick Chung and David Andrews will also be around. 2020 will be a year full of excitement for every Patriots player, including Gilmore.
