Bill Belichick New Subway Spokesman? Patriots Coach Seen Shooting Commercial

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick may be looking for ways to bond with another organization. This comes as a surprise, because we are used to seeing him wear a Patriots hoodie. Well, it’s not like Coach B is leaving the Patriots. Can you imagine the great Bill Belichick shooting a commercial?

The best head coach in the NFL may try to take his talents to the restaurant industry, who knows… Brandford’s Patriots fans are free to say that the Pats’ legendary coach visited their hometown. Well, Belichick sure brought a crowd to Main Street on July 14 for the filming of a national commercial.

Bill Belichick is shooting a commercial

Zip06/The Sound confirmed through the office of Branford First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove that the commercial will take place at two downtown shop locations in Branford. It’s a one-day shoot and the commercial is for the national restaurant franchise Subway. Subway’s world headquarters are located in Milford.

Professional location manager Greg Nutcher contacted the office of the First Selectman as confirmed by Trista Milici, Executive Assistant to the office. Nutcher first worked with the Town for a 2017 Hallmark movie shoot at multiple locations around the Branford town center.

Onlookers enjoyed the early afternoon shooting outside the former Denali store at 1004 Main Street. They watched from a staging area across Main Street as coach Belichick was being directed on the sideway outside the storefront. There was a huge Subway store sign hanging over the door. The scene also had color posters in two shop windows. “We’re Open! Hope You’re Hungry!” Sounds familiar?

Milici revealed that the production team had scheduled location time for their shoot at nearby Ralph Ciarleglio Jewelers, 1030 Main Street.

So, yes, Belichick won’t retire or join another organization. He is just shooting a commercial. This may come as a surprise for some of you because we all know that Belichick is the most private guy out there. He doesn’t like the spotlight, and he definitely hates interviews. Well, he just likes to coach his talented players and win Super Bowls. That’s all. The legendary coach will enter his first season without Tom Brady on the Patriots roster.
