Newton will challenge Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer for the starting position in New England. Head coach Bill Belichick has a few options for the empty quarterback spot Tom Brady left in March. Newton is one of his options, and Patriots fans believe that Belichick brought him in New England to take the leading role.

But, things may not turn that easy for the former Carolina Panthers quarterback. He has all the talent Belichick needs for the upcoming season. This doesn’t change the fact that Stidham is a talented player himself. Things will get really interesting in the upcoming season. The Patriots will have a new quarterback, and their receiving unit is packed with talent. Mohamed Sanu, Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry will catch passes from the new signal-caller.

There may be a few obstacles for the team, but the Patriots are confident about their roster. This is the one of the most important seasons the team will ever have. Are they ready to win? Yes! They are more than motivated to move on.
