LeBron James Delivers Hype Message After His First Game In NBA Bubble

LeBron James may be 35 but Dallas Mavericks players couldn’t stop him in his attempt to pull out his monster dunk inside the bubble. LeBron rushed past his rivals and did what he had to do. Dominate. The king of basketball really missed his game and it shows. LeBron played his first game in four months and it was amazing. He was impressed.

What did he say after the monster dunk?

“Still the fastest man out here,” the three-time NBA champion said. Oh, he is absolutely right about that one. Wait, maybe he said “baddest.” Both words work for the king. LeBron was on his stage and he enjoyed every minute of his 15 minutes.

The Los Angeles Lakers scrimmaged against the Dallas Mavericks at the Visa Athletic Center at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. They left the game with a 108-104 loss to the Mavericks. LeBron and Davis played in the first half and stacked a nice lead. King James finished the game with 12 points, five assists and three rebounds. Davis scored 12 points, two steals, one assist and one rebound in his 15 minutes.

LeBron wants to just try to get better. That’s the first comment he made after the scrimmage. His team will use the scrimmage as a training camp to “implement” their identity. The Lakers are all about defending, sharing the ball, pushing the tempo and playing together.

Seth Curry and Luka Doncic led the Mavericks. Curry had 14 points, six assists and five rebounds in 17 minutes. Doncic finished with 14 points, six assists and five rebounds in his 17 minutes on the basketball court.

The game was pretty similar to the game Lakers players have at the Staples Center. Players had their pregame ritual and elaborate handshakes at player introductions. LeBron called out defensive assignments. It was amazing.

But, it was different than any other game the Lakers have had. They played without any fans in attendance. The only attendants were actually staff from the Lakers and Mavericks, a group of reporters and people who conduct game operations. That’s all. But, LeBron enjoyed doing what he knows best.
