Anthony Davis is expected to play in the Los Angeles Lakers’ first regular season game inside the NBA’s bubble with new look.

With the NBA bubble being so closed off, it is sometimes hard to keep up. There are a lot of things going on these days with the Lakers. Many fans have questioned who will be available for the Los Angeles Lakers first game. But there is also a new look that everyone is talking about.

One of the biggest question surrounds one of the star players, Anthony Davis. He recently suffered an eye injury and now has an all new look. We loved this comparison from LeBron James.

Davis’ new look does look very familiar. But is glasses aren’t the only thing him and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have in common. Surprisingly, many of their stats are very similar as well.

Abdul-Jabbar averaged 24.6 points, 11.2 rebounds. 3.6 assists and 2.6 blocks during his stint in the NBA.

Davis is currently averaging 24.0 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.4 steals per game throughout his career.

The goggles likely won’t stay for too long but they are a new look while they last. For what it’s worth, so far, it sounds like Davis will be able to start in the first game in the NBA bubble.

The Lakers are definitely one of the favorites to win the title this year. If they do, it will be riding the backs LeBron James and Anthony Davis. But there are still some questions surrounding how well the NBA bubble will work.

Many people close to the bubble say that players are not following the strict rules that are set in place. This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, unfortunately. Hopefully they are able to keep the COVID numbers down for long enough to complete the season.

Regardless, fans are very excited to see how well the Lakers can do in this shortened season. Most believe that it is a race between the Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks who were also very good before the season was postponed.

It is great to see Davis in his new look. Hopefully he can stay healthy enough to play out the season.
