LeBron James Has His Own Throne to His Latest Media Session
The king doesn’t go anywhere without his throne. Yes, LeBron James brought his throne inside the NBA bubble. Los Angeles Lakers writer Harrison Faigen retweeted a screenshot of the king’s media availability Zoom call. From what we can see, the four-time NBA MVP was sitting on his lush red “throne” while getting his post-game therapy. LeBron sure knows how to attract everyone’s attention.
Someone noticed this and LeBron got the joke. He had a really good laugh and said, “Absolutely not. It’s one of these hallway chairs everybody sits on.”
Everyone was surprised to see Lakers head coach Frank Vogel doing his interview. In a different chair. So, maybe LeBron wasn’t really sitting in a hallway chair.
Kyle Goon reported that the three-time NBA champion leaned in on the throne joke and offered the throne to Vogel. Hilarious!
“Hey coach (Vogel), you can sit on the throne for the day.”
LeBron James has reclaimed his throne
LeBron and his team had a really good season prior to the NBA hiatus. They had the top seed in the Western Conference with the best record in the group. The Lakers won two of their three scheduled scrimmages inside the bubble. The only loss came against the Dallas Mavericks and they lost by four points.
LA will resume the season on Thursday. LeBron and Anthony Davis will meet Kawhi Leonard and his team on July 30.
It’s a big season for LeBron and the Lakers. Will he let his teammates take the throne? There’s only one king and his name is LeBron James. The great LeBron came to Los Angeles to win his fourth ring. From what we can see, he is on a good way to turn that promise into a reality. Let’s see how will the Lakers finish the season. A big win? A championship? They haven’t made the playoffs since the 2012-13 season. Maybe their luck will change this season. LeBron is here and he plays his best basketball. That should be enough.
