LeBron James Wants Jason Kidd To Stay With Lakers

Jason Kidd may soon leave the Los Angeles Lakers and become a head coach with the New York Knicks. This is not a good scenario for the Lakers fans, and superstar LeBron James would definitely love to see Kidd with the team in the next period. Kidd is the frontrunner for the position in New York. Let’s just say that LeBron James doesn’t like this at all.

Brandon Scoop B Robinson of Heavy reported that LeBron wants Kidd to stay with the team instead of going to New York.  LeBron and Kid have a very special connection and this explains the king’s reasons to keep his coach in the franchise.

“A source tells me that Jason Kidd wants the Knicks head coaching job,” Robinson reported. “Another source told me this evening that Lakers All-Star LeBron James wants Kidd to stay put in Los Angeles.”

Kidd and LeBron worked together on the Olympic team. They respect one another a lot, and the Lakers hired the point guard legend for that particular reason. Today, Kidd is an assistant coach in Los Angeles, and Frank Vogel works really well with him.

The assistant coach helped the Lakers hit the best record in the West before the NBA hiatus in March.

In 2012, Kidd played for the Knicks and retired. The California native coached the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks and then joined LeBron’s team. The Bucks fired Kidd in January 2018. He has an overall coaching record of 183-190.

Will the Knicks get Kidd? LeBron and Kidd are great friends, and the three-time NBA champion sure wants the best for his coach.

It looks like LeBron has words of praise for Kidd’s talent. He values his role in LA. Moreover, LeBron believes that Kidd’s departure would affect the team’s success.

Kidd will have to do good thinking before making a big decision. This will be a great opportunity for him. But, he will have to leave LeBron and coach other players. Let’s see how will that end. The Lakers are going after their title now, and Kidd has a great role in the process.
