Photos: Cam Newton Arrives In Foxborough

The New England Patriots didn’t show interest in getting veteran quarterback Cam Newton at first, but now he is making his way to Foxborough. Head coach Bill Belichick didn’t say much about Newton’s signing. However, everything points to the fact that Newton will compete with second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham and veteran journeyman Brian Hoyer for the starting position in September.

Belichick is the most successful coach in the league. He has won six Super Bowls as a head coach with the New England Patriots. Coach B won these titles with the greatest of all time. Well, Brady is no longer part of the organization, and he signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Many thought that Belichick is 100% sure about Stidham, but it turns out that he is willing to give Newton a chance to show off. The next quarterback will have to replace Brady and that’s not really an easy task. It’s the most difficult task a player can ever face.

Cam Newton to give Foxborough a win

Newton will be given a chance to replace the GOAT. The former Auburn All-American is now in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He will have his physical this weekend. If things turn well as expected, Newton will ink a one-year deal with the New England Patriots.

The information about Newton’s deal first broke on Sunday night. Once it’s completed, it will close the NFL quarterback circle that started off in March.

In March, Brady left the Patriots after two decades. He left in free agency and inked a $50 million deal with the Bucs. Brady will probably retire as a Bucs quarterback. Tampa didn’t need to re-sign the starting quarterback of the past five years. Former Hueytown High School prospect Jameis Winston will take a different path. Winston joined the New Orleans Saints. The team had an empty spot behind Drew Brees. Teddy Bridgewater left the organization to sign a deal with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers cut Newton, and he is a Patriot now. As you can see, it’s a big circle, and every player has found a home. Will Colin Kaepernick find his home in the near future?
