Photos: LeBron James Enjoys Taco Tuesday as Other NBA Players Begin Bubble Meals

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready to enter the bubble. Players will get tons of healthy food adjusted to their regimen. They need to be well prepared for the bubble in Orlando, Florida. Well, this doesn’t mean that LeBron will give up on his Taco Tuesday tradition. Not in this world. The Lakers are getting the most delicious food in this world and they are eating like kings.

LeBron and Kyle Kuzma shared photos of gourmet meals. They won’t get any of this in Orlando. LeBron was having tacos, and Kuzma enjoyed his freshly prepared sushi dish. Yum!

LeBron is having his last Taco Tuesday for now

It was a long season, and 22 NBA teams will travel to Disney World in Orlando to finish it. The NBA suspended the regular season in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Utah Jazz Donovan Mitchell was the first player to test positive. The Brooklyn Nets and the Denver Nuggets have already entered the bubble, and it looks like the food they are getting is nothing like the food they are used to.

Nets guard Chris Chiozza shared a pic of his chicken meal. Let’s just say it doesn’t look tasty at all. Oh, yes, he didn’t forget the crying smiling emoji. Nuggets guard Troy Daniels took a photo of his meal. It was served on an airline tray. Does he like all that packaged and processed food? I don’t think so.

MLS players are also entering their bubble in Orlando. They have “sad-looking sandwiches,” and someone brought up the resemblance to Fyre Festival food.

Right after seeing these meals, New York Times reporter Marc Stein wrote on the topic.

 “Food in the NBA bubble changes after quarantines are completed. Player meals won’t look like airline trays after the first 48 hours …” he tweeted.

Mitchell asked, “How do you know?” What did Stein write in his response?

“It’s supposed to become more of a real hotel experience — in the three team hotels — once you guys are no longer stuck quarantined in your rooms.”

Let’s see if this happens. Many players won’t be happy with these meals.
