Report: Odell Beckham Jr Wants To Play For Bill Belichick

Odell Beckham Jr has been linked to the New England Patriots for quite some time. He is a good fit for the team, and he will also work well with head coach Bill Belichick. Of course, many fans thought that Odell likes the Patriots just because of his love for Tom Brady. Well, there’s another side to this story. Now we believe that Odell actually likes head coach Bill Belichick. A lot.

Odell talked to Cam Newton, Victor Cruz and Todd Gurley on his YouTube channel. He discussed his respect for coach Belichick. Newton said that he and Belichick would work really well, and Odell added a few more comments to in. The Cleveland Browns wide receiver said he was happy for Newton. He is convinced that coach Belichick will bring the best out of him. during the same conversation, Odell provided an insight on how he first heard of the Pats’ interest in his skills.

“I got a call and my agent hit me – no cap, I was working out – and he was like, ‘Hey man, we just got interest from a team,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘OK, cool, who?’ He was like, ‘New England.’ I said, ‘Hold on, how’s me and Belichick going to mesh?’ … Because it’s like perception.”

Being part of Belichick’s squad was special and yes, he knows that coach B does things differently.

“Watching you, and now to feel that vindication and to be going to Belichick, there is no, like, ‘How is it going to work?’” the Cleveland Browns wideout told Newton. “For me, all he want to do is put you in a place to succeed. I’m happy to see it.”

Coach Belichick and the Patriots will enter the first season without Tom Brady. Belichick is ready for the challenge and he has a backup plan. Playing with Brady was awesome and he helped the team win six Super Bowls. Well, the best coach in the NFL knows that he can win games without the star quarterback.
