Watch: Cam Newton Shares New Footage From Workout With Patriots’ Mohamed Sanu

Cam Newton and Mohamed Sanu had their first workout together. From what we can see, they have excellent chemistry.

Newton signed a one-year deal with the New England Patriots. He worked out last week with the veteran wideout days after signing a deal with the Patriots. Sanu didn’t have a really good season with the Patirots. However, this doesn’t change the fact that he will be one of the most productive receivers in 2020. Of course, he has to stay healthy to accomplish that.

The former Carolina Panthers quarterback shared a video from his workout with the Patriots wideout. The Patriots nation will definitely love this. In this video, we noticed some NSFW language, but we guess that’s part of the workout. Just kidding.

We spotted the caption, and it speaks volumes. “We active,” he wrote.

Cam Newton and Mohamed Sanu will make a good duo

The quarterback wasn’t guaranteed the Patriots’ starting quarterback job. He may compete with Jarrett Stidham for that position. Throw Brian Hoyer in the mix, and you get a real group of competitive players.

Many believe that Stidham will use the arrival of Newton as a motivation to play his best football. The Auburn product is facing a big challenge, and we believe he has all the talent he needs to get the job.

Head coach Bill Belichick has to make a really big decision this summer. The Patriots will soon enter training camp, and these three will have to leave a good impression. Belichick has to make a pick. Stidham was the best candidate for the job. But, the arrival of the 2015 NFL MVP may change that. Newton can easily get the job. He is talented, you know.

According to multiple sources, Sanu’s workout with Newton was a coincidence. They didn’t plan to meet up. But, it was a good workout and it showed everyone that they may have the best chemistry. The Patriots need this to make the Super Bowl. Making the Super Bowl withotu Tom Brady will be a big challenge. But, Belichick is confident about his players.
