New England enters a challenging season, and Gilmore is positive about it. the cornerback appeared on the Ringer’s “Bakari Sellers Podcast” and discussed the Patriots’ situation. Gilmore opened several topics, and Cam Newton’s arrival in Foxboro is one of them. According to him, Newton can and will replace Tom Brady. The GOAT decided to leave the team and sign a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Many believe he will retire as a Buccaneers quarterback.

If you ask the cornerback, he will say that the Patriots did a good signing. He knows that Newton is hungry for a win. He has always been a Cam fan. Gilmore said that Newton can and may win the starting job because he has the skills to do that.

When it comes to Newton, he will compete against Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer. They can do wonders together, and the Patriots are getting ready for the upcoming season.

Gilmore will play with a great group of players, and his talent will be more than enough for the team to win games. The Patriots will move on without TB12. They still have a group of great players though.
